Overview
Players take the role of emergency medical personnel and learn by responding to critical care scenarios inside a realistic lab environment.
Problem
Medical knowledge can be difficult to retain when learners only encounter it as abstract theory instead of action-based practice.
Wireframe
Early game-flow diagrams helped define scene progression, interaction order and support moments.
High Fidelity
The experience combines lab bench objects, chemicals, tips and scene rendering into a focused learning environment.
Prototype
Simlab Composer was used for scene modeling, rendering and interaction planning.
Motion
Real-time feedback, object triggers and sound cues guide the player through critical actions.
Reflection
This work connected my UX practice with learning science: meaningful interaction can transform professional knowledge into embodied confidence.
Research
- Collaborated with medical experts and education researchers.
- Translated emergency care knowledge into game design documentation.
- Structured scenarios around advanced life support tasks and feedback loops.
Insights
Immersion is valuable only when task goals remain clear under pressure.
3D interaction needs simple affordances during high-stress scenarios.
Game tips should support learning without breaking agency.
